Satis Tax is a boutique US/UK tax services firm with 8-10 employees working out of their Pall Mall office. Satis is one of the few firms to be able to provide specialist wealth and tax planning advice and services to Americans living in the UK. This is a tax role, principally based at our London office.
The duties will include:
- Actively managing a client portfolio to ensure US and UK personal tax compliance requirements are filed timely and accurately.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for business development.
- Reviewing tax returns and work of junior members of staff.
- Identifying and communicating potential risks and technical matters to senior members of the team.
- Managing the finance of an engagement, including monitoring budgets.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- 4 Years + tax experience in US/UK Private Client tax, preferably with experience in dealing with High-Net-Worth clients, private equity executives and business owner clients.
- Is a qualified member of ATT and is an Enrolled Agent (EA).
- Has experience with CCH Axcess or CCH Prosystem for the preparation of US tax returns.
- Capable in proactively managing their client portfolio whilst working closely with senior and junior members of the team.
- Be IT competent and familiar with Microsoft computerised packages.
- The ability to organise, prioritise and work to meet tight deadlines.
- Work well in a team and have good interpersonal skills.
Remuneration will be dependent on experience. The package will include:
- Annual Leave will be 25 days per annum.
- Discretionary annual Summer Bonus.
- Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to 1 week’s salary.
- Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme all staff are auto enrolled (Employer: 5%; Employee: 3%) subject to eligibility.
- Private Medical Insurance following completion of 3 months service.
- Death in Service scheme cover (4x salary).
- Group Income Protection Scheme (non-contributory) following completion of 3 months service.
