Transforming Lives Educational Trust (TLET) is seeking an ambitious and analytical Trust Data Lead to play a pivotal role in supporting school improvement across our growing family of schools. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data professional to lead the development and oversight of the Trust's data systems, ensuring that high-quality information and insightful analysis drive strategic decision-making at both school and Trust level.
About the Role
As Trust Data Lead, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust Trust-wide data systems and reporting mechanisms that provide timely, accurate and meaningful information to key stakeholders. You will lead on the creation and management of central dashboards covering a range of performance indicators, including:
- Assessment and pupil progress across EYFS to KS5
- Attendance
- Behaviour, suspensions and exclusions
- SEND and disadvantaged pupil outcomes
- Safeguarding and wellbeing indicators
- School demographics
- Alternative provision
- Participation in extracurricular activities
- Workforce measures including staff retention and supply usage
You will also provide expert support and guidance to schools on data collection, analysis, reporting, management information systems (MIS), examinations and statutory returns, ensuring consistency and compliance across the Trust.

- Possesses excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Has experience working with educational data, management information systems and reporting tools
- Can interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to a range of audiences
- Has a strong understanding of school performance measures and educational accountability
- Can build positive relationships with school and Trust leaders
- Is proactive, organised and committed to continuous improvement
- Has experience of supporting strategic decision-making through data analysis
- Experience within the education sector and knowledge of school MIS systems, assessment frameworks and statutory reporting requirements would be highly advantageous.
