Illuminate Minds Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a new Trustee with strong equality and diversity skills and understanding. Are you a professional with wide-ranging experience in equality and diversity? Would you like to use your experience to contribute to the strategic direction of an exciting organisation, responsible for the education of over 1000 children, whilst broadening your Board-level experience?

Illuminate Minds is a multi-academy trust formed in 2015 when our two founding schools came together. Our collaboration has gone from strength to strength. Each of our schools has its own unique set of characteristics but there is a “golden elastic” which binds them together in a common goal of “Excellence Every Day” whilst allowing them to develop their own individual community ethos.

We are a family of schools who believe in aspiration, ambition and no excuses, seeking to overcome barriers and never accepting mediocrity. Our trust is committed to a culture where everybody belongs. Our intent is to ensure every child who comes through the door has an amazing experience and leaves us with the skills, knowledge and resourcefulness to embark on the next stage in their learning journey.

As a Trustee, you will work as part of the Board, in partnership with the CEO.
