Flixton Girls School are looking to recruit several Governors to join our friendly Local Advisory Board. Our governors come from a range of different backgrounds, skills and experience but all share a common interest of wanting the best possible education for the children in our school. Governors are essential for the effectiveness and success of our school, and it is an extremely rewarding and fulfilling role. The school believes in aspiration, ambition and no excuses, seeking to overcome barriers and never accepting mediocrity.
We are committed to a culture where everybody belongs. Our intent is to ensure every child who comes through the door has an amazing experience and leaves us with the skills, knowledge and resourcefulness to embark on the next stage in their learning journey.

- Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure public money is well spent
