Contract: Full time. The post holder may need to adapt working hours to meet the demands of St Christopher’s Trust and its governance structure.

Location: St Christopher’s Trust Head Office, Devon. Travel to the Trust schools and other venues will be part of the role.

We are seeking an inspiring leader to bring our vision to life, shape our schools’ future and ensure every pupil receives an exceptional education to live full lives in flourishing communities. St Christopher's is a charitable Trust, responsible for providing education across 21 primary schools in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay. We are proud to be a Trust of Community and Church of England schools.

As Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic leadership to ensure the highest standards in education and sustainable financial performance across St Christopher’s Trust. You will drive the Trust’s strategic development and delivery, ensuring alignment with its vision and values. You will champion continuous improvement, support growth, build leadership capacity across the Trust and promote a culture of innovation.

With a strong focus on governance, compliance and financial sustainability, you will collaborate with the Board of Directors and key external stakeholders. You will also act as the Trust’s primary spokesperson, ensuring effective communication and engagement with communities, parents and partners.

The successful candidate will be an inspiring leader with a proven track record in leadership within an educational or similar environment. You will have the ability to drive change and uphold the values and ethos of a Church of England Multi Academy Trust.
