We are now seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to lead on school culture, with a specific focus on attendance, behaviour and attitudes. The successful candidate will be an inspiring leader with a track record of improving standards, who is committed to the school and Trust’s impact on every student. Working in partnership with the Headteacher, the leadership team and our school community, you will provide the strategic leadership that underpins our culture with specific regard to attendance, attitude to learning and behaviour.
You will consistently communicate the school vision of ‘Ambition for All,’ work to our mission ‘E Pluribus Unum’ and the key drivers that underpin it; namely Kindness, Respect and Ambition. A passion for and evidence of developing a school culture and the associated structures and systems is a prerequisite for this role – they must support and empower staff to get the very best from every student, without exception. Most especially, this relates to those that need us the most, right across the continuum of need.
The successful candidate, at both a strategic and operational level, will drive the message of high expectations in everything we do and for the young people we do it for. The approach will be warm and kind, complementing our ambition and desire that every child is proud to belong and achieves.
As the new Assistant Headteacher, you will:
