Satis Education are recruiting Teaching Assistants for our client schools in Liverpool. We are experiencing huge demand at present for SEN, Primary and Secondary Teaching Assistants. If you are a level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or a recent graduate, we want to hear from you today! We have immediate work available in various settings. So, if you are seeking a role where every day is different, you are passionate about making a difference to pupils’ learning and feel energized about supporting their learning journey, then we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Working on a 1:1 basis or with a small group of pupils
- Working collaboratively with the SENDCo for any pupils who require extra support
- A nurturing and positive character is essential, along with demonstrating empathy
- Preparation of the classroom for lessons
- Occasionally assist on school outings or school events
- The ability to manage groups of pupils and challenging behaviour
To join Satis Education and work in our client schools as a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills
- Have experience supporting pupils across all Key Stages or relevant youth work
- Hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable, not essential)
- Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or allow Satis Education to process one)
- Have a CV covering your last 10 years of employment
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
