We are seeking an Attractions Manager to lead the guest journey at a pioneering immersive destination in Cornwall. This role bridges operational excellence, creative storytelling, and historical integrity to ensure every visitor encounter is educational, engaging, and memorable.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team—including supervisors, a coordinator, and guest experience hosts—to oversee the seamless running of attractions, admissions, and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities- Inspiring Leadership: Lead and empower the Supervisors, Coordinator, and Guest Experience Hosts to deliver a high-quality and consistent visitor experience.
- Team Development: Partner with HR to recruit, onboard, and manage the performance of the Attractions Team.
- Site Expertise: Serve as the primary on-site expert for the booking system, managing configuration and accurate data reporting.
- Reporting: Review daily and weekly reports regarding revenue, feedback, and technology to share key insights with senior management.
- Project Management: Act as the Project Manager for all events hosted at the site, coordinating logistics, scheduling, and staffing.
- Budget Oversight: Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure events are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
- Community Engagement: Represent the destination at community events and partner meetings to build strong local relationships.
- Proven Background: Experience within museums, heritage attractions, luxury hospitality, or visitor engagement roles.
- Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a team and manage multiple priorities.
- Storytelling: Excellent written and verbal communication with a keen sense of tone and historical interpretation.
