We are seeking an experienced General Manager to take full accountability for hotel operations. The property operates across multiple departments, including rooms, food and beverage, leisure, tour guiding and reservations, and the General Manager will need to lead this breadth of operation with confidence and consistency.
Given the region and guest profile, fluency in both Afrikaans and English is essential to this role, as is a strong command of rooms division operations and revenue management. This is a business where seasonal trading patterns matter, and the successful candidate will need a demonstrated ability to protect performance through quieter periods as well as peak season.
- Take full accountability for the day-to-day operations of the hotel, with particular oversight of the rooms division and reservations function.
- Manage all operational departments, including front office, housekeeping, tour guiding, leisure services and human resources.
- Drive revenue management strategy across all seasons, with specific focus on optimising performance during low season.
- Manage budgets and ensure the property meets agreed financial targets.
- Monitor pricing, occupancy and yield, adjusting strategy in response to seasonal and market conditions.

- Champion a consistent, high standard of service excellence throughout the property.
