The successful candidate will be confident working independently, managing the evening operation to the highest private household standards. Scope of Role
- Evening Housekeeping & Residence Care
- Sole responsibility for the immaculate presentation and upkeep of the residence during evening hours
- High-level cleaning and maintenance of all rooms, including specialist care for fine furnishings, surfaces, and personal effects
- Conducting evening turn-down service to the principal's exact preferences
- Proactively managing supply levels and flagging any household needs to the Head Housekeeper
- Front-of-House & Table Service
- Providing silver service and butler-standard service to the principal and any guests in residence
- Serving meals and refreshments with polish and discretion, adapting seamlessly to the principal's preferences and routines
- Ensuring all formal and informal dining areas are presented to an impeccable standard throughout the evening
- Team & Household Communication
- Working closely with the Head Housekeeper and wider household team to ensure a smooth and seamless evening handover
- Communicating proactively regarding any maintenance issues, scheduling needs, or household matters
- Demonstrating flexibility and availability at weekends or outside standard hours when guests are in residence or circumstances require it

- Proven experience in a private household setting, with the confidence to manage the evening operation independently
- Silver service and butler-standard hospitality skills, with experience serving at table and conducting turn-down service
