Are you an experienced full-stack engineer and technical leader ready to co-found a bootstrapped startup reimagining investment banking? We are seeking a Co-Founder & CTO to lead the design, development, and scaling of a platform that modernizes private market deal-making using data, AI, and a frictionless digital interface. This foundational leadership role starts hands-on, with significant equity in the long-term success of the business.

Your Role:

• Own the end-to-end development of the platform—from MVP through to scalable product iterations.
• Lead full-stack engineering using Django (Python), React, and TypeScript, including architecture decisions, coding, and quality assurance.
• Manage and collaborate with outsourced development teams, ensuring delivery aligns with product goals and quality standards.
• Translate business goals into technical execution, working closely with the founding team to shape product strategy and roadmap.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead the in-house engineering team, including front-end, back-end, and DevOps engineers.
• Establish DevOps practices and infrastructure, with future plans for cloud migration (AWS or Google Cloud).
• Support investor conversations and represent the tech vision externally when needed.
• Drive long-term innovation through a scalable, secure, and AI-enhanced platform.
• Work effectively in a remote-first, globally distributed team.

What You’ll Need:

✔️ Proven experience as a full-stack engineer with the ability to ship scalable, production-ready web applications.

✔️ Deep hands-on experience with Python/Django, TypeScript, and React.

✔️ Strong DevOps/infrastructure knowledge, including familiarity with DigitalOcean, CI/CD, monitoring, and eventual migration plans.

✔️ Experience managing outsourced and distributed development teams, with strong project delivery and code quality oversight.

✔️ A product mindset—comfortable translating abstract business needs into robust, user-centric technical solutions.

✔️ Demonstrated leadership experience or clear potential to build and lead high-performing technical teams.

✔️ Comfortable operating in lean, ambiguous startup environments, taking initiative and making key architectural decisions early.

✔️ Excellent communicator and collaborator; able to work closely with non-technical founders, stakeholders, and future investors.

✔️ Aligned to UK or EMEA time zones, with openness to relocation as a bonus (not required).
