New Job – Accounts Assistant\\n\\nAre you an experienced finance professional with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach? Do you take pride in delivering accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong credit control processes? If so, we’d love to hear from you!\\n\\nNorthampton – £29,000-£31,000 (including excellent benefits)\\n\\nAs Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Business Partner and Management Team, ensuring all financial tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Your responsibilities will include:\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Month-End & Reporting: Assisting with key financial reports.\\n\\n * Expense Management: Processing and reviewing employee expenses, accruals, and releases.\\n\\n * Cash Book & Reconciliations: Ensuring accurate postings and reconciliations.\\n\\n * Fixed Assets: Numbering, tagging, and photographing newly acquired assets.\\n\\n * Sales Ledger & Credit Control.\\n\\n * Bad Debt Calculations & Ad-Hoc Finance Tasks: Including journal posting, internal controls, and customer/supplier inactivity checks.\\n\\nAbout You:\\n\\n * 5+ years’ experience working in a finance department with a strong understanding of financial processes.\\n\\n * Experience using Sage 200.\\n\\n * Highly detail-conscious, proactive, and self-motivated.\\n\\n * Strong numerical skills with proficiency in Maths and English.\\n\\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\\n\\nFurther information\\n\\nIf you feel you have the skills and experience as well as the personal attributes for this role, please apply.
