THE ROLE
- Develop and execute a robust automation testing strategy focusing on both API and UI testing for Satalia Delivery, an established scheduling solution for last‑mile deliveries used by several major UK brands.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts for functional, API, and regression testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage of user journeys and backend processes.
- Collaborate closely with our internal product and engineering teams to understand requirements, communicate testing progress, and manage expectations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members on automation best practices.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Extensive experience in API and UI testing.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring an automation team.
- Ability to define and implement effective automation strategies.
- Experience with cloud‑based platforms (preferably GCP).
- Proficient in using version control systems and CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, GitHub).
- Experience with multiple modern testing tools and the ability to choose between them.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented and highly organized.
