* A great opportunity has been raised within Satair UK (an Airbus Service Company) to develop yourself and your career. *
* The vacancy is for a Battery Workshop Technician working at the Satair UK facility near London Heathrow airport. The workshop operates on a shift pattern Monday to Friday. Early shift 6am-2pm and late shift 12am -8pm. *
* The successful applicant will join the maintenance team. Satair UK maintain batteries from all aviation sectors, passenger, cargo, corporate jet, military and helicopters. All battery technologies are also covered: NiCd, Lead acid, lithium. *
* Technical responsibilities: *
* Maintain batteries in strict accordance with the relative OMM/CMM and standard working procedures
* Complete and maintain clear neat workshop records
* Work as part of a team
* Complete shift responsibilities
* Identify issues arising from maintenance regime and provide solutions for issue resolution
* Completion of shift handover
* Carry out AOG roster duties
* Scrap batteries and prepare for recycling as required
* Resolve warranty claims
* Release EASA/CAA form 1 certificate
* Assist quality manager in the completion of internal and external audits
* Carry out other duties as director by manager or shift supervisor
* Keep working areas neat and tidy
