Position: Full-Time (9am – 6pm Mon to Fri) – starting ASAP

ROLE SUMMARY: Sassy+ is seeking a highly organised and proactive Post-Production Coordinator to support our team at our Elstree & Farringdon studios. In this pivotal role, you’ll work alongside a dynamic and imaginative creative team under the guidance of the Head of Post-Production, ensuring the smooth running of all post-production processes across a range of projects. You’ll help bring ideas to life, coordinating schedules, managing deliverables, and liaising between internal teams and external partners to keep everything on track and on time. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for coordinating all project workflow, ensuring post-production jobs are suitably scheduled with the post team and the right people are working on the right projects on a day-to-day basis.
  • Overseeing the efficient delivery across a wide range of work from live action through to branded content, editorial & corporate films, graphics and animation.
  • Work closely with the Head of Post-Production and Production teams to make sure the Post-Production management software (e.g. Toggl etc) is always up-to-date and deadlines are being met through daily catchups.
  • Work with the Head of Post-Production and the wider Post-Production team to ensure realistic edit and GFX time is scheduled and deadlines are set and managed throughout.
  • Anticipate any workflow or resource issues and troubleshoot with management, ensuring regular updates are sent to wider company communicating successes and concerns e.g. busy periods/clarity with briefs/Asset delivery/Tech Spec requirements etc.
  • Work with the Head of Post-Production and Production Management team to ensure the development and upkeep of comprehensive timeline system and calendar to help track projects across the pre-production, production and post schedule to optimise workflow.
  • Maintain and improve our comprehensive database of key freelance contacts from editors to animators, VFX specialists to graders, including developing relationships with suppliers and implementing savings where external resource is needed.
  • Help support production team with general day-to-day tasks, including tech support with onsite edit laptops, edit suite software licences, drive management etc.
  • Make recommendations to the Head of Post-Production for systems, processes and kit that would benefit the day-to-day running of the Sassy+ post-team.
  • Work closely with all members of the Sassy+ team to deliver work of the highest standard, on time and within budget.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • 3+ years experience working in a dynamic post-production environment.
  • Experience in coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detailed knowledge of post-production workflows - edit, GFX, sound, grade & delivery.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently, but always with passion and energy.
  • Excellent admin, time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Skilled in a range of software packages including MS Office and have an aptitude to learn new software systems and workflow tools.
  • A desire to take ownership and responsibility for Sassy+ project activity, delivery and the quality of work.

PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

  • Delivery of high-quality output for our projects and clients, on time and on budget.
  • Effective support on project coordination timelines from concept to delivery.
  • Feedback on the handling of projects by senior team members at Sassy+.
  • Feedback from your line manager (Head of Post-Production).
  • Performance to be formally reviewed after three months and then once per year.
