Location: Celonis, Lacon House, London (WC1X 8NL)

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Contracted: 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-2pm shift and 12pm-6pm shift

Salary: £15.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting for the role of receptionist and office support, and we are looking to hear from candidates who are positive, have a can-do attitude and have ambition to grow.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide receptionist and office support services to one of our prestigious clients at their central London offices. They are a customer of ours whom we look after throughout Europe and your role will be pivotal in ensuring a successful partnership between Sasse & the customer in the UK. In your role, you will often be the first point of contact between customers and the business and therefore your presentation and articulation of the customer experience is of critical importance to our client.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the office is tidy, organized, and stocked with essentials such as snacks, drinks, coffee, and supplies for meeting rooms and common areas.
  • Managing emails, Slack messages, and ServiceNow requests, and assisting colleagues and visitors promptly.
  • Receiving deliveries and ensuring items reach the right people or are stored correctly.
  • Supporting ordering processes, stock management, maintaining accurate records and liaising with suppliers and service providers where required.
  • Operating and maintaining office equipment, including the coffee machine, dishwasher, and water dispenser, so everything is ready when needed.
  • Greeting guests, offering refreshments, and making sure their visit is pleasant and seamless.
  • Supporting meeting room bookings, setups, and events, ensuring all equipment and supplies are in place.
  • Assisting with office events and social activities, contributing to a positive office culture.
  • Keeping accurate records of visitors and managing access passes appropriately (Temporary Passes for Celonis staff, Contractor Passes for contractors).
  • Performing end-of-day and end-of-week checks, including tidiness, stock updates and reporting any issues to the Office Manager.

About you:

  • Meticulous digital and planning skills, with the ability to demonstrate examples during interview.
  • Well presented, punctual, with strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, or workplace support roles is preferable but not essential.
  • Reliable, agile, passionate, and a strong communicator.
  • A confident and approachable people person, able to welcome and support clients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Experience working in a professional office or technology environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence supporting administrative tasks, including basic record keeping, ordering processes, and supplier coordination.
  • A flexible approach and the ability to adapt to occasional changes in working hours when required.
  • Supporting workplace activities and helping to create a positive office environment.
  • First Aid and Fire Marshal training would be preferable.
