Contracted: 32.5 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days per week as per rota, 6pm - 1.30am

We are currently recruiting for a Full-time GSO Shunter/Cleaner/Fueller at Birkenhead Bus Depot for Arriva, and we are looking to hear from candidates who are positive, have a can-do attitude and have ambition to grow.
The Role
- Process the vehicles on their return to the depot.
- Move and manoeuvre vehicles/buses within the depot, following instructions from the allocator and parking according to the parking plan.
- Maintain overall cleanliness, including bus and facility cleaning, waste removal.
- Perform fuelling tasks.
- Conduct visual checks for any damage, report issues, and ensure all windows are closed before buses enter the wash.
- Follow strict Health & Safety procedures and instructions.
- Deliver timely, efficient, and courteous service on customer sites.
- Show willingness and ability to work unsocial hours in line with the late shift.
Qualifications
- Full UK car (B category) driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years.
- No formal qualifications are needed.
