We are currently recruiting for a Full-time PCV Shunter at Stagecoach Bromley Bus Garage and we are looking to hear from candidates who are positive, have a can-do attitude and have ambition to grow.
The Role
As a PCV Shunter (GSO), you will play an essential role in ensuring our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- Process the vehicles on their return to the depot.
- Moving and manoeuvring vehicles/buses within the depot and on public road, following instructions from the allocator and parking according to the parking plan.
- Conducting visual checks for any damage, reporting issues, and ensuring all windows are closed before buses enter the wash.
- Follow strict Health & Safety procedures and instructions.
- Using digital reporting tools and performing banksman duties (where trained).
The role will also have additional site duties in line with General Service Operative (GSO) Essential Requirements delivering timely, efficient, and courteous service on customer sites.
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK PCV (D category) driving licence.
- Full training and support will be provided by our team, no formal qualifications are needed.
