About The Job

  • Track progress of individual tasks and alert stakeholders of issues blocking or preventing completion of task.
  • Ensure the quality of the code you write through the development of automated tests (unit, performance, UI).
  • Perform testing of software; verify, track, and fix bugs and modify software design as necessary.
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.
  • Embrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of working experience as a Software Developer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related quantitative field.
  • 1 year of experience developing React, or similar front-end framework, based applications with TypeScript.
  • 1 year of experience contributing at multiple levels of the software stack with languages like Java or Go.
  • Experience writing automated tests at various levels (unit, integration, etc.) for your software.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools such as Git/Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, or similar.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK is required to be considered for the role.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Additional Competencies, Knowledge And Skills

  • Experience writing SQL and major RDBMS such as Postgres or Oracle.
  • Experience building and orchestrating containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with web styling CSS, SCSS, less.
  • Experience with unit testing in React using Jest.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks like Pytest or Playwright.
  • Experience with cloud architectures and at least one major public cloud provider, preferably Azure.
  • Python experience is a plus.
