Join Our Team as a Senior SMB Account Representative – Northern Europe
As a Senior SMB Account Representative, you will be responsible for selling SAS software products, solutions, hosting, education, and services directly to customers and through SAS Partners in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment to prospective and current accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute territory and account strategies to grow new software, hosting, and education revenue and exceed sales quotas.
- Sell software, solutions, hosting, consulting services, and education (and combinations thereof) to current and prospective customers (new logos). Ability to manage all aspects of the sales cycle (prospecting, discovery, proposal, proof, close, cross/up sell).
- Collaborate with SAS Partners to sell SAS software, solutions, hosting, consulting services, and education to current and prospective customers.
- Educate and enable new SAS Partners by partnering in pipeline development activities and sales cycle execution.
- Develop and implement territory-specific pipeline generation plans, considering the value of the SAS Partner community to maintain a pipeline that meets revenue objectives. Generate pipeline through effective lead management, conversion, and proactive prospecting.
- Build and lead virtual teams involving internal and external resources (e.g., Customer Advisors, Consulting, Industry/Domain Experts, Legal, Negotiations, SAS Partners, Value Engineering).
- Lead virtual teams and guide prospects/customers through qualifying opportunities, mapping and proposing suitable SAS offerings, and efficiently executing sales cycles to secure new contracts.
Work Location:
This role is hybrid, requiring two days per week in the office (Marlow, Glasgow, or Dublin) and occasional travel to customer or partner sites.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, channel, or indirect sales roles.
- Proficiency in prospecting and strategic selling techniques.
- Advanced understanding of hardware and software acquisition cycles and buying influences.
- Ability to establish and build relationships with customers, including engaging C-level executives; capable of communicating technical and business concepts via phone and relating them to SAS system applications and user needs.
- Skill in analyzing territory dynamics, developing sales plans, and forecasting sales accurately.
- Deep knowledge of industry/market trends and complex business/finance concepts relevant to selling.
- Broad knowledge of SAS products and solutions.
- Fluent in English.
