The Decisioning team is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to make an impact on this integral software through the whole development lifecycle, ensuring high quality design, implementation and delivery of features to our customers. You will develop and support robust quality engineering solutions at every layer of the software development life cycle while empowering the team to continuously deliver enterprise grade software to production by engineering quality into our continuous delivery pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the highest quality of test automation that fails fast, uses modern development techniques, and provide key data points to support metrics-based decision making.
- Apply automated tests at every layer of the application stack, both inside and outside of the continuous delivery pipeline.
- Capitalize upon your creativity by developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Work with your team to promptly triage test failures with precision and accuracy, maintaining the health of the build pipeline.
- Work collaboratively with development, product, operations, and support peers to encourage quality.
- Utilize observability and monitoring tools to proactively detect and remediate failures.
- Experience with manual test case/test scenario development & execution.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related quantitative field.
- Over 5 years of experience developing automated tests using Playwright, Postman, Python, Selenium, or other modern frameworks.
- Experience working in an agile software development environment, including sprint planning and delivery of sprint commitments, Jira.
- Strong programming skill at least one of languages, python, java, selenium etc.
- Experience working with container platforms and technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Proficient with Git, or other source control management systems.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
- Right to work in the UK.
