The Risk and Quantitative Solutions team is responsible for the accuracy and quality of SAS software solutions targeted to the needs of the Financial Services industry. Whether it be an insurance company needing to prove to a regulator that they have the resources to maintain solvent under catastrophic circumstances or a large bank needing to meet industry standards like CECL, or simply just needing to add governance to their AI or risk modelling processes, our solutions meet these needs.
As an intern, you might:
- Write python code that automates interactions with REST APIs or AI models.
- Write python code that tests software performance.
- Write code to test new features and bug fixes or improve the test automation framework and reporting.
- Learn and implement best practices in test automation and Agentic AI usage.
- Learn and work with the latest versions of container build and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes and with the most common cloud providers.
Required Qualifications
- Degree Type: Associates, Bachelor’s, Master’s
- Targeted majors: Computer Science, Data Science
- You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2026.
- Programming experience in python.
- A basic understanding of JSON, REST APIs and HTTP verbs.
- You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
- You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with test frameworks, particularly pytest.
- Familiarity with various AI tools and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Location Glasgow-Hybrid
Internship dates: May 27th – August 19th, 2026. We can be flexible on start date if your university is on a quarter system. Internships last 12 weeks in total length.
