The company manages events for public and private sector clients, offering a comprehensive range of live and online event services across the UK, mainland Europe, and internationally.
With high standards and a collaborative approach, SAS builds strong, long-term relationships with clients who rely on them for reliable, well-executed events and to manage their membership associations.
You will plan, coordinate, and deliver live conferences and supporting events in UK and overseas, including managing timelines, budgets, and logistics.
Responsibilities include liaising with clients and stakeholders, securing/managing venues and suppliers and overseeing on-site event delivery.
You will have specific responsibility to lead for us on a 2 day conference taking place in Paris mid 2027.
You will work closely with other SAS colleagues to ensure events meet client objectives, run smoothly, and uphold our high standards of service.
Full-time position based in Salisbury office 3 days a week and 2 days a week working from home.

Initially this is a maternity cover role for 12 months but there will be opportunities to extend service thereafter if you wish to join the team permanently.
Employed status preferred but we will also consider suitably qualified freelancers.
Event planning and coordination skills, including scheduling, logistics management, and vendor/venue liaison.
Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple events, deadlines, and competing priorities.
Attention to detail and quality control skills for managing budgets, documentation, and on-site execution.
Competence with digital tools for online events, registrations, and communication (e. g., event platforms, CRM systems, office productivity software).
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, both independently and as part of a team based in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Previous experience in event management, conference organization, or association management is highly beneficial, although other specialities will be considered if relevant transferable skills can be demonstrated.
