Senior corporate associate/partner (Stockport)
We have an exciting opportunity for a corporate solicitor to join our Stockport team at either senior associate or partner level.
You’ll handle high‑value matters with a strong degree of autonomy, working alongside other members of the team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead on M&A (buy‑and‑sell‑side), private equity and investment transactions, shareholder agreements, group restructures, and corporate governance matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships through excellent communication and high‑quality service.
- Generate fee income and maintain effective control of time recording, work in progress, billing, and cash collection in line with agreed targets.
- Take an active role in business development, including networking, developing new client relationships, and attending BD events.
About you
- 5+ years’ PQE.
- Strong technical expertise across M&A and general corporate matters.
- Proven experience managing and running your own transactions.
- Commercially minded, credible with senior stakeholders, and confident in business development activities.
