SARIA's operations in the UK are active in a wide range of sectors associated with the food chain. The Group's companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications. The company also produces biofuels and renewable energy and provides services for farming and the food industry.
Applications are invited for a Shift Electrician at the Company's SARVAL Nottingham site. The role is a full-time permanent role, working 4 on 4 off 12-hour day shifts. You will be expected to cover shifts for holidays and sickness and work overtime as and when required.
As a Shift Electrician your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company's requirements but will include:
- To liaise with the Shift Team Leader to ensure the efficient running of the factory and associated processes.
- To understand all factory operations, including steam raising plant / Odour control and effluent treatment plant.
- Monitor all electrical equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Carry out breakdown repairs, as able, to factory equipment in a timely manner.
- Provide assistance to other shift members, as necessary, when requested by the Shift Team Leader or Site Management.
- Site Electrical installations and upgrade work, as designated by the Electrical Team Leader.
- To carry out routine electrical or mechanical maintenance according to planned maintenance schedules.
You must have served a recognised City and Guilds Electrical Apprenticeship. Have extensive electrical experience working in a continuous process environment. Have experience of handling electrical maintenance and breakdowns. Be familiar with general factory maintenance practices. Be conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives. Basic mechanical skills. Experience of plant operations.
