Thank you for your interest in the position of Teacher of English with a TLR for Literacy Lead at our school. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our team.

We are looking for a teacher who is:

  • Passionate about English and able to engage students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Lead and develop the school’s whole-school literacy strategy, supporting colleagues across all subject areas to raise standards in reading, writing, vocabulary and communication.
  • Committed to inclusion, with a strong track record or genuine interest in working with pupils with SEN and those in receipt of Pupil Premium funding.
  • Able to deliver high-quality teaching and learning that has a real impact on student progress and outcomes.
  • Motivated to contribute to the wider life of the school, working collaboratively with colleagues to make a tangible difference.
