We are looking for a Business Process Expert – Instrument Service (x|f|m) to join our business unit Sartorius Lab Instruments GmbH in Goettingen or our side in Epsom (UK). The role focuses on developing and improving global service business processes, from new service design and order entry to technical service, scheduling, and invoicing. You will work at the intersection of process design, digitalisation, and system implementation, using tools such as SAP (CS/SD/MM) and Service1, and partner closely with global and local service teams to deliver consistent, efficient, and scalable service operations worldwide. This full‑time position requires onsite presence with the possibility to work remotely some days.

Your responsibilities:

  • You perform end‑to‑end service processes as part of international rollouts, improvement initiatives, and enterprise integrations.
  • You support interdisciplinary and global projects and system rollouts, ensuring consistent adoption and alignment of service standards.
  • You translate operational requirements into functional system specifications for SAP and Service1, ensuring seamless integration into our global service landscape.
  • You conduct, coordinate, and document system tests for enhancements, feature releases, and integrations (SAP, Service1, and other service‑management tools).
  • You proactively advise and train local service units on our global processes and applications.
  • You conduct training sessions and optimise existing training documentation.
  • You coordinate projects and initiatives on the topics of processes, organization, and digitalisation.

What will convince us:

  • A university degree (e.g. industrial engineering) or a subject‑related completed apprenticeship with initial work experience.
  • Initial experience in applying project‑management methods and tools for process analysis, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and agile project management.
  • Experience in technical‑oriented service, ideally within the Sartorius service environment.
  • Relevant knowledge of service‑management software and strong SAP ERP knowledge (CS, SD, MM); CRM Service1 experience is an advantage.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills; German is a plus.
  • Intercultural competences and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20 %).
