We are looking for a Cleanroom Operator at our Cell Bank Manufacturing site in Newhouse, near Motherwell. Do you have experience working in a cleanroom environment following GMP regulations? Have you had experience in cell culture or aseptic technique or interested in learning more about them? In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanroom area, working on client projects and carrying out cell culture activities whilst following GMP guidelines. The team consists of 6 professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.

This position is full‑time offering a salary of £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. This is an on‑site role at our Newhouse site in BioCity, near Motherwell.

Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities
  • On a daily basis you will carry out cell culture and media preparation, complete documents according to agreed protocols.
  • You will maintain hygiene of the areas within the manufacturing suite as per the cleaning procedure and schedule, ensure that materials are available to allow execution of planned actions in a timely manner.
  • You will be reviewing and preparing SOPs and project related documentation, prepare project summary updates to share with clients.
  • In addition, you will collate project documentation and prepare final reports under appropriate supervision, complete deviation reports, change control documents etc.
  • You will adhere to risk assessments, including COSHH and GMO.
  • You will be required to adhere to appropriate regulatory compliance demonstrating appropriate knowledge of regulatory and GxP requirements.

  • You have previous experience working in a cleanroom environment following GMP regulations.
  • You have strong attention to detail, and the ability to execute actions as per written instructions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill and the willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work well within a team while also being self‑motivated and capable of working alone with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to comprehend and draw conclusions from scientific and numerical data.
  • Proven software skills e.g.: Microsoft Office.
