We are looking for a Business Process Expert Instrument Service (x|f|m) for our business unit Sartorius Lab Instruments GmbH in Goettingen or our site in Epsom (UK) to further develop our global service business processes, starting with the development of new services, order entry, technical service including scheduling, up to invoicing. You will work at the intersection of process design, digitalization, and system implementation, using tools such as SAP (CS/SD/MM) and Service1, and you will partner closely with global and local service teams to ensure consistent, efficient, and scalable service operations worldwide. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly influence our global service strategy and elevate the customer experience through smart, data-driven and seamlessly integrated processes. This position is available in full-time and requires to be on-site with the possibility to work some days remotely.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
- You perform end-to-end service processes as part of international rollouts, improvement initiatives, and enterprise integrations.
- You support interdisciplinary and global projects as well as system rollouts, and improvement initiatives, ensuring consistent adoption and alignment of service standards.
- You translate operational requirements into functional system specifications for SAP and Service1, ensuring seamless integration into our global service landscape.
- You conduct, coordinate, and document system tests for enhancements, feature releases, and integrations (SAP, Service1, and other service management tools).
- You proactively advise and train local service units on our global processes and applications.
- You conduct training sessions and optimize existing training documentation.
- You coordinate projects and initiatives on the topics of processes, organization, and digitalization.
What will convince us
- A university degree (e.g. industrial engineering) or a subject-related completed apprenticeship with initial work experience.
- Initial experience in the application of methods in project management as well as tools for process analysis and improvement such as Six Sigma, Lean and agile project management.
- Experience in technical-oriented service, ideally in the Sartorius service environment.
- Relevant service management software knowledge as well as good SAP ERP knowledge (e.g. CS, SD, MM) and CRM Service1 knowledge are an advantage.
- Very good written and spoken English skills, German is a plus.
- Intercultural competences and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%).
