Join our Product Development team in Royston, Hertfordshire as a Test Engineer on a 12 month fixed term contract. We are looking for a Test Engineer to support research and development activities across the organisation by applying appropriate research theories, principles and models to plan and run experiments, then analysing and summarising results and presenting your findings to internal and external stakeholders. The team currently consists of 4 professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is available full-time on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be based at our Royston site with some flexibility to work from home on an occasional basis subject to workload.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities- Review and produce test plans, protocols, results and related documentation.
- Design and deliver verification & validation activities.
- Create test protocols, including test cases and test methods.
- Support the management of test documentation during execution, including anomaly tracking and reporting.
- Create and maintain templates for test documentation and reporting to ensure consistency and traceability.
- An academic degree in Engineering would be beneficial, a Science degree or strong relevant experience within a highly regulated industry will also be considered.
- Previous experience of integrated system testing of complex electro/mechanical products combining hardware and software.
- Product validation, with a solid understanding of the product lifecycle.
- Ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong attention to detail with a process driven approach.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to re-prioritise workload to meet changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to analyse issues quickly, identify root cause and implement practical solutions.
