Join our Production team in Nottingham as a Process Biotechnologist. Do you have production or manufacturing experience, with a good knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques? If so, this is a great opportunity to join a close-knit production team, producing biopharmaceutical products adhering to GMP guidelines following SOPs whilst using state-of-the-art equipment. The site is expanding, so it’s a great time to join the team to further your career.

The team consists of 6 professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is full-time, based at our site in Nottingham just a short walk from the city centre, train station and tram stop. The role requires working a 12.5 hour day, a well-balanced shift pattern to cover a 24-hour production schedule (day shift 7am – 7.30pm, night shift 7pm – 7.30am). You will be working 2 or 3 consecutive days with days off in between; on occasions you will have 6 days off at one time. Further information will be provided upon application.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate manufacturing equipment to carry out the cGMP production of Biopharmaceuticals
  • Production processing; incorporating Fermentation, Cell Separation, Chromatography, Final Ultrafiltration and In-process Sampling and Analysis
  • Preparation and Operation of all Equipment following SOP’s and PCD’s
  • Calibration of instruments and plant maintenance tasks as required during processing or during maintenance shutdown periods
  • Complete all documentation required to GDP
  • Assist in closure of operations related IOD’s, CR’s and CAPA
  • Filter control and integrity testing
  • Use of the production autoclave
  • Manual handling and physically demanding activities at times (i.e., lifting 25kg bags of salts, sugar and more)
