We are looking for an Injection Mould Setter to join our team on a permanent basis in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Join our Production team in the Mould Shop and play a vital role in delivering high-quality manufacturing outcomes through efficient tool changes, accurate equipment setup and a proactive commitment to operational excellence.

Through a proactive, quality-focused and process-driven approach, you will help to ensure the safe, efficient and compliant operation of our moulding processes. By delivering high-quality moulded components that meet production and regulatory requirements, you will enable our teams to focus on what matters most: better health for more people.

Based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, the role requires working a shift pattern including nights to cover the production schedule:

  • Early shift - Monday to Thursday 5.30am – 2pm and Friday 6am – 11am.
  • Late shift – Monday to Thursday 2pm – 10pm and Friday 11am – 6pm.
  • Night shift - Sunday 11pm-6am and Monday to Thursday 10pm-6am. All shifts rotate on a weekly basis.

You will become part of a team of 25 dedicated professionals who look forward to shaping the future together with you. Our site in Stonehouse is a manufacturer of plastic components and single-use products, such as lab scale bioreactors and filtration.

Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities

  • Use only verified production programs, change process settings only within specified guidelines and clearly record and communicate all process changes using QR-182.
  • Communicate maintenance issues clearly to the Senior Technician and actively support the mould shop maintenance programme as required.
  • Complete First Off Inspections as required and conduct patrol inspections of moulded components at least every two hours.
  • Support the qualification of mouldings as required and participate in all relevant training, either delivering or receiving it.
  • Record and report non-conformances to the Senior Technician, MSM and QM, and maintain accurate and complete records.
  • Provide cover for holidays and sickness as required.
  • Maintain and promote a safe, clean working environment and ensure work meets the required quality standards.
  • Operate in accordance with the quality system and promptly inform Production or Quality personnel of any quality issues.
  • Support systems that ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and regulatory IVD requirements, including good documentation practices.
  • Complete First Aid training and provide First Aid support within the facility.
