We are looking for a Quality Engineer - Manufacturing for the Quality department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high quality standards across all manufacturing processes working with production, engineering, injection moulding area and quality to provide day to day support and resolve issues that could occur during manufacturing. The department consists of 18 professionals (across QA, QC, QS), and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available full time and based on site in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.10 - 16.10 or 7.55 - 16.55, Friday 7.10 - 12.10, 7.55 - 12.55 rotating on a weekly basis.
Your Responsibilities:
- On a daily basis you will provide day-to-day quality support to production on the shop floor, raise non-conformances, carry out investigations, manage deviations and support the QMS.
- You will also draft, review and maintain SOPs, write investigations reports, support change control activities.
- You will maintain quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, investigations reports, validation protocols to ensure traceability and compliance.
- You will investigate non-conformances, customer complaints and process deviations, carry out root cause analysis and raise CAPAs to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
- You will collaborate with production engineering and other departments for process control and improvements.
- You will operate CMMs, shadow graph and other measuring equipment to verify product material quality and compliance.

Experience:
- Experience in a quality role in a manufacturing or production environment in the pharmaceutical or medical industry ideally following ISO9001 or ISO13485 regulations though candidates from other industries will also be considered ie.: automotive, food, aerospace.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Use of measuring equipment such as CMM would be desirable.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate challenging situations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills, to be able to juggle multiple processes and priorities.
