We are looking for a Quality Auditor to join our team in Glasgow (Maxim Park). In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the quality department, maintaining and updating the GLP QMS, providing guidance for the operational team, ensuring compliance to GLP, carrying out inspections and audits of study plans, activities, processes and facilities. The broader team consists of 13 professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available for full-time. It's an onsite position, located in Maxim Park, Motherwell.
Grow with us - Your Responsibilities
- On a daily basis you will coordinate and maintain a GLP compliant Quality Management System (quality manual, SOPs, master schedule etc.).
- You will perform supplier audits and inspections.
- You will conduct audit and in-life inspections of studies and processes, host inspections conducted by customers and regulatory agencies (MHRA).
- You will provide technical assistance and training to Quality and Operations team members to ensure compliance with the principles of GLP.
- Address any issues of non-compliance and ensure quality is an integral part of all processes and procedures.
- Supporting CSV validation projects for new systems.
What will convince us
- You may have a Higher of Scientific discipline or a degree in a relevant life science discipline.
- Previous laboratory experience in a GLP or ISO environment.
- Keen interest in working in the quality department.
- Knowledge of audits/inspections would be beneficial.
- Good communication and written skills and the ability to interact with other departments.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage own workload.
