We're working with a well established and growing transport planning consultancy to recruit a Transport Planner to join their Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2+ years' experience in development planning to take the next step in their career, gaining greater responsibility, client exposure and project management experience while being supported by experienced transport planners in a collaborative environment.

The Role

You will take an active role in delivering development planning projects, applying your technical knowledge and professional judgement to help shape development proposals across residential, commercial and mixed use schemes.

Key Responsibilities and Profile

  • Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
  • Undertake transport data analysis, including trip generation, accessibility and junction modelling.
  • Produce clear written reports, drawings and visual outputs.
  • Experience in development related transport planning within consultancy or a similar environment.
  • Strong communication skills, good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in: AutoCAD, Junctions or LinSig and ideally ArcGIS, with commitment to ongoing professional development.
