Senior/Principal Civil Engineer – Leeds
My client is seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to join their growing civil engineering design team in Leeds. The team delivers detailed designs for highways and drainage on major developments across the UK, including multi million pound residential, commercial, and industrial schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality design work across highways and drainage projects
- Produce detailed design drawings and models using Civil 3D and Infodrainage
- Prepare designs for external works, levels, S278 highways agreements, and other Section agreements
- Coordinate and liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and the wider design team
- Manage and track project documentation efficiently
- Provide technical support throughout all project stages, from concept through to delivery
The Ideal Candidate
- 5–10 years’ experience in civil engineering design, ideally working on large scale or complex developments
- Confident producing highways and drainage designs to a high technical standard
- Proven track record of delivering designs for both residential and non residential schemes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Civil 3D and Drainage Design (essential)
- Excellent communication skills and experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
