Building Control Surveyor - Class 3

Sarto Thomas are currently partnering with a client to fill a NEW contract role in London. This position would be great for a Class 3 RBI to join a stable team working on some of London\’s newest and most prestigious projects! This is an exciting contract opportunity to elevate your portfolio. The initial contract is for 6 months, with a strong likelihood of an extension due to the current market conditions and projects.

· Position: Class 3 Registered Building Control Surveyor

· Location: London

· Contract Type: Inside IR35

· Hourly Rate: £80+ an hour

[After tax deductions, your take-home pay would be in your account every Friday. Taking home up to £1761.66 every week]

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of highly prestigious construction projects, including site visits and plan checking
• Ensure compliance with the latest building regulations and codes.
• Keep up to date with changes in building regulations and address compliance issues promptly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• LABC experience – desired
• Proven track record in a Building Control role
• Class 3 registration with the BSR – essential
• Chartered Membership [e.g., RICS, CIOB, or CABE] – desired.
• Experience with commercial buildings
• Excellent communication skills, both individually and as part of a team.
