We are looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Maintenance Assistant who is ready to build a career in hospitality maintenance. Working alongside our experienced Maintenance team to maintain our guest bedrooms and public areas to the highest standard, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience whilst also committing to completing a Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship over 15 months. Our Maintenance Team is at the heart of our hotel, playing a vital role in the smooth running of the business, supporting all departments to ensure our guests enjoy an exceptional experience.

As an Apprentice Maintenance Assistant you will join the team in providing both reactive and proactive maintenance for all areas of the hotel including rooms and public areas. This apprenticeship would suit someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work and has a practical mindset with an interest in areas such as general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and decorating. What will I be doing as an Apprentice Maintenance Assistant?

  • Studying the Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship Level 2 to include short block release and master classes with our local learning provider
  • Working with the maintenance team to provide day-to-day repairs and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the hotel
  • Developing a strong understanding of hotel operations and health and safety legislation alongside building practical maintenance knowledge and skills

In line with the requirements of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
