We are now inviting warm, friendly, well presented and confident individuals to join in our journey of service excellence as Food & Beverage Shift Leader.

Primarily looking after the Lounge Bar and Restaurant but also looking after Meeting and Events when required.

You must have Supervisory experience in Bar/Restaurant environment.

All interviews will take place at the Bull Hotel in Gerrards Cross.

Our Food and Beverage team is the heart of our busy restaurant, lounge bar and meetings and events space.

As Food and Beverage Shift Leader you will be responsible for the smooth running of one of these departments during your shift.

We believe it is the people we employ that make the difference to the experience of our guests, and that is why we are looking for someone who is ready to go above and beyond in everything they do., What will I be doing as Food and Beverage Shift Leader?

  • Providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests.
  • Supervising and motivating your team to ensure standards and service excellence are maintained at all times.
  • Liaising with the kitchen to ensure food service is timely and as ordered, taking care of special requests and guests with allergies.
  • Ensuring guests are served in a professional and timely manner and dealing with feedback should it arise.
  • Ensuring all H & S and Hygiene standards are maintained
  • Supporting the Supervisor and Manager in providing on-job training and coaching to the service team.
  • Taking responsibility for monies and stock within the department when on duty.
  • Learning and building your knowledge on all the hotel's products and services.
  • Attending training & completing e-learning modules to improve your skills and aid your development

In line with the requirements of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.

  • Proven track record with a minimum of 1 years' experience of working as an F&B Assistant within a quality hotel or restaurant.
  • A positive outlook with a 'can do' attitude.
  • A passion for hospitality and service with a smile.
  • The ability to work under pressure and be able to resolve customer problems effectively
  • Lots of enthusiasm, a professional manner and not afraid to take on extra responsibility when needed
  • An excellent command of written & spoken English
  • Ability to work full time on a 5 day out of 7 rota with a mix of early shifts and late shifts including weekends.
