We are looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our small brigade of chefs within our Food and Beverage Team. Our Kitchen is at the heart of our Food & Beverage department providing food for our guests in our Restaurant, Lounge Bar and Meetings & Events department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small brigade of chefs producing quality fresh food to satisfy our guests' appetites. As a Breakfast Chef you will have:
- Previous experience as a breakfast chef preparing Buffet and a la carte breakfast service, ideally for 250 plus covers per day
- NVQ level 2 qualification or similar in food production
- Knowledge and understanding of all applicable Health & Safety legislation
- Self-motivation with the desire & ability to deliver quality food consistently in time frame
- Flexibility to work 5 days from 7 on rota including weekends, starting as early as 6am
What will I be doing as a Breakfast Chef?
- Ensuring adequate mis-en-place prepared for breakfast service each day
- Taking responsibility for the production of all buffet and a la carte breakfast items, hot and cold.
- Maintaining standards of service, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction by ensuring quality /quantity of food on the restaurant buffet is monitored and replenished as required.
- Preparing staff food, ensuring quality and quantity provided as required
- Maintaining a high standard of kitchen cleanliness and ensuring all hygiene and health and safety practices are followed.
- Ensuring that temperature checks are carried out in line with the Food Safety Regulations
