The Position
Applications are invited for an Operative to work at our SARVAL Ltd, Doncaster Site. This is a full-time position, working 12‑hour shifts, days and nights, on a 3‑week shift pattern. As an Operative your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Factory requirements but will include:
- Ensure that all relevant Health and Safety Regulations are always followed.
- Work on a picking belt sorting through fresh and frozen meat products.
- Clean factory areas to maintain the standards expected within the plant.
- Undertake general site housekeeping.
- Drive a Forklift truck and operate machinery to move produce.
- Complete any necessary paperwork.
- Any other duties as required by Management.
The Person
- Candidates should hold a Forklift Truck licence.
- Be comfortable working in a cold factory environment.
- Previous experience of working within a process industry would be advantageous.
- Be a strong communicator.
- Be able to work well individually and as part of a team.
- Be self‑motivated and able to manage own workload.
