Overview
Applications are invited for an Electrical Engineering Maintenance Apprentice at our Nottingham Site.
This is a full-time apprenticeship (with study release to college).
The role will involve varied tasks based on the company’s needs and includes the following responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Maintenance Team ensuring all equipment operates correctly.
- Conduct risk assessments on all jobs before undertaking any work or tasks.
- Ensure all logs and job sheets are completed as required.
- Complete work to a high standard, complying with Health and Safety requirements to protect yourself and others.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working area after each job or task.
- Install and maintain new and existing equipment without interrupting production.
- Assist with any other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum grade 4 in GCSE Maths, English, Science and another technical subject, or equivalent.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and eager to progress personally within an engineering role.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Inquisitive and questioning mindset, with a desire to learn from others.
- Good problem‑solving skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Effective time management abilities.
