Under the direction of and reporting to the Production Supervisor, a Trim Sealing Attendant is responsible for streamlining trim movement opportunity usage, reducing spoilage, and increasing accuracy in the plant while removing some workload from Material Handlers, Team Leaders, and Production Inventory Auditor/Receiving Support. This position requires knowledge of company products, methods, materials, quality standards, and policies. This also includes other duties that may be assigned by your Supervisor.
3rd shift, 10:30pm-6:30am.

What You Do.
- Performs all necessary preparation for daily operations based on work orders and production schedules including the facilitation of raw materials and daily checks on lift trucks.
- Locates, removes from cooler, and transfers all bulk and trim cheese to production lines according to specific production work orders.
- Prepares trim orders for shipping including checking, repacking skids, sorting, wrapping, and attaching shipping instructions according to assignments.
- Work with the Material Handlers and ensure that trim that is generated on all lines is accurately labeled, handled, and binned to the correct location in the cooler.
- Ability to look up, retrieve, and stage process materials.
- Follow the Sargento Code of Business and Personal Ethics.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Your Education and Experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) required or minimally enrolled with anticipated completion in 12 months or less
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
Your Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Willingness to complete fork lift certification upon hire.
- Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
- Lifting 50 lbs.
