Location: Beverley (Currently Tokenspire Business Park HU17 0TB, moving to a brand-new, Advanced Manufacturing facility off Grovehill Road within the next 12 months or sooner)

Position Type: Permanent or Fixed-Term contracts available

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with a 45-minute unpaid break) & Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Enjoy a 2.5-day weekend every week!

Pay Rate: £12.73 per hour (increasing to £13.18 per hour upon successful completion of the probationary period)

About the Role

We are seeking detail-oriented Production Operative / Electrical Assemblers to join our growing team. The core nature of this role is the hands-on manufacturing and assembly of electrical products using a wide variety of production methods, tools, and processes. Reporting directly to the Section Leader (or HR in their absence), you will work in an open manufacturing environment where teamwork, adaptability, and high concentration are essential to meet changing production demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt to different assembly methods to build varied electrical products.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics accurately.
  • Utilise a range of hand tools, specialist equipment, and machinery.
  • Perform visual quality checks and inspections on finished goods.
  • Complete and record production paperwork and work activities accurately.
  • Practice safe manual handling, including team lifting and mechanical aids.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Follow all company health and safety policies, HR rules, and procedures.
  • Pivot to alternative production tasks across different sections as required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The role varies between sitting and standing depending on the task. All production areas require a variety of continuous hand movements. Close visual inspection and completing accurate paperwork are daily requirements. You will work closely with team members in an open, busy environment.
