Organised – Analytical – Reliable. You’ll control, track and forecast all project costs to keep our Teesside site project on budget and fully auditable. You work closely with the Project Manager, supporting the team with accurate data, strong commercial insights and reliable cost reporting. This role places you at the heart of a major site-based challenge where precision, ownership and teamwork drive every decision. You bring clarity to complexity, ensuring the project moves forward safely and efficiently.
Your Job In a Nutshell:
- Record, monitor and control all project costs across plant, equipment, materials and labour.
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly payment applications.
- Develop cost estimates and assessments for variations.
- Support forecasting, cost reporting and long-term budget tracking.
- Keep all financial data accurate, up to date and auditable.
- Work site-based in Teesside, UK with hybrid options aligned to company policy.
- Report directly to the Project Manager and collaborate with the wider project team.

Required:
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or Cost Engineer.
- Background in construction, engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of cost control, commercial processes and reporting.
- High proficiency in Excel and cost management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on site and collaboratively within a project team.
- Confident and clear communication skills.
