As a Crane Operator at Sarens, you'll join our team on major projects in the UK. You'll operate some of the most powerful cranes in the world - LR1600, LR1750, CC2800, CC8800, CC9800 and SGC-250 - ensuring every lift is safe, accurate, and compliant. This is your chance to work on a high-profile project and possibly continue with us on future challenges across Europe.

Your job in a nutshell:

  • Operate and control LR1600, LR1750, CC2800, CC8800, CC9800 cranes independently and safely.
  • Assemble, configure, and dismantle cranes on-site.
  • Check planning instructions, lifting plans, certificates, and load charts before work.
  • Inspect cranes and auxiliary equipment before, during, and after operations.
  • Perform daily and preventive maintenance; report irregularities.
  • Complete maintenance checklists and work records accurately.
  • Promote SHEQ standards and continuous improvement on every site.
  • Report to your Line Manager and collaborate with Team Blue across Europe.

About you:

You're a hands-on professional who combines technical skill with a strong sense of responsibility. You value safety, precision, and teamwork. You're ready to travel and take ownership of your craft.

Required:

  • Valid hoisting/safety certificate.
  • Working at heights certificate.
  • Solid knowledge of English for site communication.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics and hydraulics.
  • Driver's license C or CE.

Preferred:

  • Technical education (MTS or MBO).
  • Additional certificates (forklift, telehandler, aerial platform).
  • Excellent communication and situational awareness skills.
