Senior Womenswear Designer – Soft Wovens OR Jersey (tops, dresses, skirts, etc).

Location: London | Employment: Full-Time, Permanent | Office-Based

A leading high street supplier is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Womenswear Designer specialising in trend-led soft wovens or jersey. You’ll work closely with the design team, supporting the Senior Designer and Account Manager, involvement in the full design process from trend research through to customer presentations and product delivery.

What you’ll do:

  • Designing soft wovens or jersey womenswear, with strong focus on shape and fabric knowledge, supporting the senior designer.
  • Conduct trend and market research to inspire collections.
  • Develop ranges, prepare presentations, and maintain daily communication with customers.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure products align with customer expectations and timelines.

About you:

  • Solid experience as Womenswear Designer, ideally within a high street supplier.
  • Strong commercial awareness of current trends.
  • Excellent communication skills; confident liaising with colleagues, customers, and third-party factories across Europe and the Far East.
  • Highly organised, efficient, and able to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Garment technical knowledge; able to compile detailed tech packs.
  • Supportive and proactive with the design team's daily needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator; 3D design experience is a bonus.
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in fashion design.
