Senior Women's Wear Designer – Wovens – Occasionwear
Leading High Street Supplier – London
Full Time/Perm – office based 5 days per week
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Women's Wear Designer across Multi-Product Occasionwear for young fashion retail accounts such as ASOS and River Island to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for trends, colour, print and embellishment and the ability to translate these into commercially successful ranges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with design director and account managers to design seasonal collections. Select fabrics, trims, colour palettes, prints and graphics that complement the design vision and USP.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and technical packs for each design.
- Work collaboratively with our customers creating initial rack ups of appropriate styling. Attending customer meetings with account manager, adhering to requirements and deadlines.
- Work closely with the technical and production team to ensure designs are to our established blocks, are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities.
About you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience with a focus in Women's Wovens
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and textiles.

- Willingness to travel for research, sourcing, attending industry events.
- Passion for fashion and a deep understanding of current and future trends.
