At the cutting edge of fast fashion, this leading high street supplier is a global design and manufacturing business with its headquarters in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Women\’s Garment Technologist looking to develop their career further within a fast-paced environment. Joining a friendly and experienced technical team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of all samples before the fit meeting – press/reference samples, spec\’ing initial samples, chasing production samples, uploading the PS chase up list.
• Measure and inspect samples for fit and quality, sewing on buttons, ensure samples are tagged up with date. E.g., sealer, factory PP, PS etc.
• Writing comments, responding to emails, liaising cross depts, attending handover meetings.
• Liaise with factories regarding fit comments and spec requirements.
• Understanding status, test reports and updating the critical path system.
• Preparing Tech Packs, working closely with pattern cutters.

About you:

• Retail or supplier experience across jersey/woven womenswear.
• A degree/equivalent qualification in Fashion with a genuine interest in garment construction.
• An understanding of pattern cutting and garment manufacture.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Organisational/accuracy skills and be innovative with a proactive approach to problem solving.
