East London | Full Time | Fashion Wholesale
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Coordinator to join a leading womenswear supplier, designing and delivering trend-led collections for major high street and international retailers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to manage the end-to-end production process across fast-paced womenswear collections, working closely with design, sales, buying, suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders and production from order to delivery.
- Track critical paths and production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Liaise with design, sales, buying throughout the product lifecycle.
- Approve fabrics, trims, colours and samples.
- Coordinate the sampling process and manage incoming samples.
- Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate lead times and costs.
- Monitor margins, product information and shipping timelines.
- Coordinate warehouse deliveries and maintain accurate system data.
- Support customer accounts with product information and merchandising updates.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Production Coordinator, Production Merchandiser, or Assistant Merchandiser or similar within fashion.
- Experience in womenswear fashion apparel production.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail with strong Excel and systems knowledge.
- Commercially aware, proactive, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience working with overseas factories and suppliers.
- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction and sampling.
- Relevant qualification in Fashion, Merchandising or Business.
